Delivery Please allow a 48 hour processing period after placing your order, in addition to the shipping times indicated below. We do not ship on weekends or holidays, but we do ship daily throughout the week. If you require your order for a special event please let us know. Write your event date in the "additional info" space when placing your order. Items are shipped in Australia via Registered Post. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after order has been dispatched. Any out of stock items will be noted as such on our site. If we are unable to dispatch goods within 2 working days we will notify you.
Inventory All of the clothing, lingerie & accessory items listed on the website are in-stock and ready to ship.
If you see an item that is "Temporarily Sold Out" it means that we plan to re-stock when it becomes available again from the manufacturer. If an item is truly no longer available, we take it off the site. We re-order many styles on a continuous basis. Also, we always try to order items in a range of sizes.
Returns Most Exchanges are due to fit issues. Please consult our sizing guides before ordering, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. An email now could save you lots of hassle and additional postage later!
We will happily exchange items that don't fit, or extend a 100% in-store credit on any unsatisfactory items.
Returns are treated on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to refuse returns we believe aren't for a legitimate reason. If we think that you have worn the item we will simply post it back to you.
Please send the items back within 14 days of receipt. Items returned after 2 weeks will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. No exceptions.
Please allow one to two weeks for your return to be processed.
No returns or exchanges accepted for intimate items due to sanitary reasons. Items considered intimate in nature: panties, g-strings (thongs), bras, camisole sets, stay-ups, stockings, and socks.
Returned items must be in the same condition as you received them-- unworn, with tags still attached. Condition of returned items judged at our discretion. Out of the Closet cannot accept returns for worn items. We understand you will need to try on certain items, but once you have worn items to an event we will not be able to accept returns or exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please send instructions with the item. Keep in mind that exchanges are subject to availability. Check the website ~ if the size you desire isn't listed, then we probably don't have it in stock. When in doubt, contact us first and we will let you know what options are available.
Out of the Closet is not responsible for return postage. When you arrange shipping to return or exchange items to us, we are not responsible for lost or misdelivered items sent uninsured. The original shipping charge will not be refunded. Additional shipping fees may apply for exchanges. We will contact you if further postage is required.
When returning swimwear: We will only accept swimwear for size exchange or store credit if the swimwear is unworn, tags attached, sanitary strip still in place, and if the item was tried on OVER underwear.
