Out of the Closet was created to bring niche clothing styles from Europe and the US to Australian and New Zealanders and to get some talented independent Australian designers available to the masses. We mainly stock retro, rockabilly, swing and vintage reproduction clothing. At Out of the Closet we consider quality to be paramount and endeavour to offer a clothing range that covers a variety of budgets. All online stock is here in Australia so postage is faster and less expensive than ordering from overseas. Items are easier to return and naturally we stock according to seasons in the southern hemisphere, although we do sell to the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden the US and Canada.
Out of the Closet also specialises in carrying women’s clothes that flatter most women's figures. We are proud to say we have owned clothes from every supplier we stock and know the brands well. Our suppliers are usually small and make their clothes locally.
