What countries do you sell to?

We currently sell to Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden the USA and Canada.

 

I have searched all over the web for a dress you have in my size but you don't sell to my country!

Send us an email at sales@outoftheclosetclothing.com.au and ask anyway, if we can accomodate you we certainly will.  But please check the exchange rate first to make sure you are comfortable with the price you will be charged.

 

What currency are your prices listed in?

Australian Dollars (AUD).

 

Do you sell Gift Certificates?

Yes, we do.

 

I love your clothes but I can't find my size.

Sometimes there is a wait on the reorder as we have suppliers from all around the world.  If we don't seem to stock your sizes because you are quite petite or quite curvy send us an email with your size requirements so we know where the demand is.  We try to get larger sizes when they are available, but as they are extremely popular they can sell out at the suppliers level

 

I want to buy a dress but I'm not confident about choosing a size.  What can I do?

Firstly make sure you read the correct size chart for your item (especially for Trashy Diva who have a seperate chart for each style).  If you are still unsure you can send us an email at info@outoftheclosetclothing.com.au  You can even send us your measurements if you would like to be advised by us in this regard.  We wear the brands we sell and are well informed of the characteristics of each label.  Otherwise if you are between sizes you can always go for the slightly larger one.  A good tailor can take an item in but they can't make it bigger.  We are always happy to help advise you before a purchase and there is no obligation to buy.  Additionally, you should leave the tags on the garment until you have tried it on, in case you would like to exchange it.

 

I bought a dress and it just doesn't suit me, can I return it?

Usually you can, please read the returns and exchanges section of Terms & Conditions page to see our policies in detail in this matter.

 

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we do.  Sometimes we have sales and there are often discounts available in our newsletters.  The discounts in the newsletters tend to be the biggest so it is well worth your while to sign up.

 

I signed up to your site but haven't got any discount offers.  Why?

If you signed up as a user but didn't select the option to receive our newsletter then you will only have access to the public sales.

 

Can I pass the discount code onto a friend or are they just for current customers?

Yes you can pass them onto friends.  The idea is to reward loyal customers by giving them the first bite at the apple but you can still forward the codes to your friends.

 

The item I wanted was one price on the product page and a higher price in the cart, why?

At checkout time GST is calculated if it is applicable.  So is the shipping.

 

Do I have to pay shipping?

If you are Australian and your order is over AUD$150.00 then shipping is free if you select the free shipping option on the SHIPPING METHOD step of the checkout process.  If you don't do this then you still have to pay the shipping.

 

What if I want to exchange some pants but you have sold out of the size I would like to replace them with?

When you want to exchange something, it is ideal to first send us an email with the all the details so we can advise you if it is possible.  Many items are ordered on a continous basis so we can replace them reasonably quickly.

 

How long does it take to recieve my order?

Most of our orders are able to be shipped within 24 hours.  If you have a specific date you can always let us know so we can make sure you recieve it in time.

 

Some of the dresses you sell are cheaper on US websites, why?

It means the Australian dollar is very strong against the US dollar.  We have to average out the value of the Australian dollar.  When our dollar is weak we are usually cheaper than the US and when our dollar is strong, more expensive.

 

Do you price match?

So far we have always managed to, we take it on a case by case basis.  We welcome you to ask, there is no obligation to buy.
